Build a professional network in the real world.

A hackathon prototype that helps early-career professionals find nearby events and people worth meeting.

Arya Punjabi and I built Commons for the Claude Hackathon. It is for people early in their careers who do not already have a strong professional network.

The prototype used five parallel web-search agents to find relevant local events, community leaders, and other leads for a user to follow up with. I built the agentic workflows, and we shipped the containerized full-stack app in six hours.

Commons placed in the top two. It was also my first serious attempt at coordinating multiple search agents, including the less glamorous part: running into API rate limits and learning where structured data still beats an open-ended agent.
